Cybernet Introduces the CyberMed T10C Medical Grade Tablet

Irvine, CA, October 21st, 2015. Cybernet recently introduced the CyberMed T10C medical tablet, which conforms to all of the guidelines outlined by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and ensures health care facilities abide by CDC standards, thus providing safer environments for patients. The CDC recommends healthcare facilities thoroughly clean sensitive medical equipment, such as medical equipment, by using liquid disinfectants to ensure a sterile environment is maintained.

“Cybernet’s T10C boasts liquid resistant capabilities and has an accredited, medical grade antimicrobial* casing to protect the computer from degradation or deterioration” said Ali Bagheri, Global Senior Vice President at Cybernet. “Its unique design allows a more thorough job of cleaning, helping to prevent contamination due to substances like dust, dirt, blood, and body fluids.”

The CyberMed T10C medical tablet also offers many advanced features such as an Intel® N2930 Quad-Core Mobile Processor, 9.7" LED Screen 4:3, up to 8GB DDR3/1600MHz and with up to 128GB of storage. Features like medical barcode scanners, RFID reader, a Smart Card reader and VESA mounting make the CyberMed T10C one of the most advanced mobile tablets on the market.

“Our portable medical computer is small, yet powerful. At only 1.9 pounds, the CyberMed T10C is the lightest medical grade tablet in its class,” Bagheri added. “We understand that medical professionals stay busy and need to rely on equipment that is both safe and reliable, which is why our medical grade tablet is powered by the latest Intel processor platform & standard 4GB of RAM.”

The CyberMed T10C has been designed specifically with functionality in mind. Medical professionals can easily scan patient wristbands and barcodes on medications. The optional digitizer pen writes smoothly and accurately and complies with HIPAA regulations to make it possible for physicians to conveniently write prescriptions; digitally signing documents is easy and convenient.

Bagheri stated, “With 60601-1 medical certification, Cybernet’s T10C Windows tablet has been built specifically for medical professionals for application in a variety of healthcare settings. It is lightweight, powerful and very easy to use.”
