Cybernet Introduces a Medical Tablet PC with Antimicrobial* Coating

Irvine, CA, February 15, 2012. Cybernet Manufacturing added to their impressive lineup of all-in-one medical computers with the release of their first Windows tablet PC, the CyberMed T10. This medical tablet (or Mobile Clinical Assistant, MCA) has an antimicrobial* coating to protect the computer from degradation or deterioration, weighs only 1.9 pounds, and has the power to handle any EMR or medical software. The T10 comes standard with 4GB of DDR3 RAM, a 32GB SSD, an Intel N2600 CPU, WiFi, and a 9.7-inch LED capacitive multi-touch screen - priced at $999.

Cybernet has developed a full line of medical all-in-one PCs, all with touch screens and antimicrobial* coating to protect the computer from degradation or deterioration. Some models are also fanless. Their medical PCs are used in hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and eldercare facilities across the United States.

Senior Vice-President Ali Bagheri tells the story of Cybernet’s entry into the MCA market. “We continuously work with our customers to study their changing PC use. Many of our health care customers have used our all-in-one PCs for several years, and often make design suggestions. Some customers want 15-, 17- or 19-inch PCs that they can use on a wall or cart, but others want something more portable that can also handle the EMR software that today’s medical professionals are using throughout their facilities. We built the right set of features into a lightweight MCA with a carrying handle and docking station, so the CyberMed T10 can be used anywhere. We are very excited to introduce this to the market,” he says.

The CyberMed T10 is loaded with all the features that medical professionals need. It has a touch screen that can be used with gloves, an integrated HDMI port, a dual camera, and a long life battery. The front bezel has an IP65 rating to enable cleaning with liquids. The T10 tablet also carries FCC, CE, EN60601-1 and UL60601-1 certifications. Learn more about the CyberMed T10.
